New Jake's Grand Opening Party!

Gonna be a BIG grand opening party for the new Jake's Fireworks, Dancing, DJ Shep (everything but wine and cheese platters) Saturday July 26th! Fireworks and grand opening ceremony at 6:30.. Party starts at 7! I'm looking forward to seeing you there! JC

Pride Closing Party!

Last party of SLPride! AND last party at our existing location! DJ Shep spins the tunes and everyone is welcome at Jake's! Next party will be at the new expanded Jake's Dance Club Look for details here! JC

UPDATE: Tonight's (July 20th) party.. may be being moved to the new Jakes location! All of you will get a special peek as we finish it off.. Come to to Jake's tonight, and see if we put up a special landmark giver to the new location!

Last weekend b 4 we move!

On Saturday, July 19, Jake's will move to the Pride venue (Jake's is a GOLD SPONSOR of pride this year) for a special two hour dance party with the incomparable DJ Aeschylus Shepherd! Then there will be a special post-pride party on SUNDAY from 5 - 7 PM (SUNDAY, July 20). (SLURL) JC



BTW: We encourage EVERYONE to attend pride this year it's a full week of exiting events! We have 2 booths! A special pavilion for the Saturday party (see above) and another for Eddi Haskell Photography. (see post to follow) Please come check it all out!

Xmas in July Party!

If you are anything like me you can't wait until December to wear fur lined red stuff! (that was a joke btw) Anyway.. the theme party we have coming up is Christmas in July! And Best Costume wins! (and guess what? Their pic appears in the blog too!) DJ Shep makes sure the tunes are thumping and your jingly bits jingle! Come on over! JC

Quiet 3day weekend in SL.. yet STILL Jake's pulls in the crowds! Must have been because of the theme: "Beach Party" DJ Shep's tracks were perfect! (and luv that voice.. mmmm) The best beachwear contest winner was Jamie Flintlock (that's his picture below)
