On stage since the age of 8, music has been the one consistent thing in JazzMan's life. And then at the age of 11 his singing was joined by what would become his favorite instrument - the trumpet. From that point on music would weave its way through every part of Jazz's life. JM has won numerous awards from the age of 12, both on a local and national level and is rumored to be one of the most accomplished unsigned artists. With his roots deep in Gospel, JM's style can be defined as a fusion of jazz and R&B. His original songs have touched thousands of lives both on the Gospel and secular side. Jazz is also a fan of quality cover tunes which he does at many shows. With one of the smoothest voices and melodic trumpet lines you are sure to be entertained, uplifted, and touched by his music.

A romantic at heart, Jewels favors love songs and ballads. She has her own style and flair and enjoys the beautiful nightclubs of SL.

Peter has a frustrating commute, tiresome coworkers, an inane boss and a girlfriend that he's pretty sure is cheating on him. The only bright spots in his life are his two friends at work, Samir and Michael Bolton, his laid-back construction worker neighbor Lawrence , and Joanna, a waitress at the local Chotchkie's restaurant whom he worships from afar.

SATURDAY 6/6 –Steampunk Party @ Jake's 9pm SLT

Steampunk is more than just brass and watchparts. It's finding a way to combine the past and the future in an aesthetic pleasing yet still punkish way. The awesome DJ Syriana Paine, Jake and always entertaining Jake's Boys will be on hand to entertain you at one of the bigest theme events in SL.
A minimum L$1,000 will be awarded to the best in Steampunk.

The hilarious film offers a younger skew on what must be labeled the Apatow house brand of touchy-feely sex comedy -- in other words, more extreme profanity and juvenile gross-out gags. But all that doesn't make "Superbad" bad. Far from it -- this is the funniest picture since "Borat," and more emotionally nuanced than you would expect.

Movie Nights @ Jake's 5/15 - 5/17

Every Friday at 11:30pm (slt) and Sunday night at 8:00pm (slt) Jake's has been serving up a classic movie for your enjoyment. This weeks showing is "Clerks" and "Underworld".

Best to arrive a little early to make sure your media specs are set up correctly and enjoy the fun as everyone arrives. (if you arrive late you'll still see the movie, it's just you'll be "out of synch" with the rest of the audience) It's great fun, come on down. JC
